What To Expect

Prior to your appointment, please ensure that you have filled out all electronic forms. These forms arrive in your inbox after you book your first session. If you do not see the forms, please check your junk mail.

Please arrive on time for your appointment and have a seat in the waiting area. Your clinician will come and get you at your appointment time. Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.

Our Counselling Options

  • In Person

    In-person sessions are available at our location in Emerald Park.

  • By Phone

    Our phone counselling service allows you to receive help right where you are, with a professional counsellor.

  • Secure Video

    Counselling sessions are offered to adults, teens (talk to your provider first to be sure this is appropriate for your child) and couples through a secure video platform. All you need is a computer with an integrated camera, a tablet, or a smartphone. It’s as simple as that.

FAQs

  • We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment. Clients are responsible for the cost of sessions canceled less than 24 hours prior to their scheduled time.

  • Clients are responsible for full payment of missed or forgotten appointments. Email and text reminders are available to all clients. Missed appointments must be paid in full before a new appointment can be scheduled.

    We understand that life can bring illness, unexpected obligations and/or emergencies.

    If you need to cancel your appointment after the allowed 24-hour cancellation, please do so via email or text.

  • If you arrive late, you will receive the remaining time allocated to your scheduled appointment. You will be billed for the full amount of the appointment duration you had reserved. Your clinician may leave the building if you have not arrived within 20 minutes of your scheduled time.

  • Our booking and billing system allows you to pay for sessions online through a secure payment system and to securely store a credit card for future billing if you choose. Receipts will be sent when payment is processed and can also be accessed through your online client account. Clients not wishing to pay online can e-transfer to:
